California rhyme slayer Propaganda is back with a brand new single. After three years, he hits the people square in the face with the California Slapper “We Are The Culture.” Prop wrote this song to remind people, specifically minorities, that we are the culture. The trends and topics that are appropriated and adopted came from people with a rich culture. In his own words, “How I’m supposed to chase what I already am!?”
People aren’t separate from the culture but are the culture. Add in the head nod and homage paid to the legendary DJ Efechto with DJ Malksi on the beat, and this song is sure to be in constant rotation. Propaganda said this album took three years and visiting three different countries to flesh out. If this is the first sample of what he’s cooked up for the people, then we are in for a treat.
