Proverbs 18:16 (NKJV) “A man’s gift makes room for him,
And brings him before great men.” This scripture has proven so very true in my life as of late and it is my new favorite scripture.
My name is Maliphresh and I am a 25 year old CHH artist. I have done so much in the CHH industry and for the Christian community. Now all I want to do is reach the hood! I was born in raised in the hood and I hoop with some edgy gentlemen with hood tendencies in my neighborhood basketball court. All they play is street music and I really want to give them, as well as young teens, some better music to listen to aka: One Less for their Flesh, which was the title of my last project. I really think the hood can get behind this because when I play my music for strangers, they always say it doesn’t sound like CHH and every time I will reply “EXACTLY”. My goal is to get that hood feel, sound, bass and flow: but with none of the lyrics and all the holy spirit. So play this at your neighborhood court and see the reactions you’ll get because I know I’ll do the same!
