Brutha Joe is an American Artist, Songwriter and producer. His passion for music began as far back as he can remember. He states music has always been a part of his life even when he wasn’t creating it. With inspirations coming from old blues and R&B records his mother’s side of the family enjoyed every weekend while the family gathered around the BBQ Pitt all the way to the enlightenment of the old spiritual hymns his Father’s mom sang every morning while the pops and pans crashed against each other with the aroma of bacon and hot cakes in the air. He strives to use his gifts as tools of inspiration and encouragement which he hopes to lead the listener towards a relationship with Jesus Christ. All we can do is plant the seeds he says and the Holy Spirit will nourish it if the person chooses to have a relationship. He describes his sound as a taste of the old and new fused with his spiritual beliefs and dedication to his work in the ministry. We all have a ministry he states and should use the gifts and talents God bestowed upon us to be a blessing to someone.
