See What They Can’t | @chicangeorge @trackstarz

Luke 18:38- He called out, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”

This is one of the most powerful verses in the new testament! The background to this verse comes from the anticipation and faith of a blind man. He had been blind and heard of all of these stories of Christ as people walked by him. He heard all of these prophecies of who was to come and be a Saviour for him all these years. Not being able to see, he had to trust in what he heard.

As Jesus came into the town of Jericho, people began to say the “Jesus of Nazareth is passing by.” By the blind man calling Christ, Son of David, he was showing that he could recognize Christ from his “blind faith.”

This week, I want you to have a Mirror Moment and ask “Do I have blind faith as the blind man?” Can you see what others can’t when it comes to the move of Christ? Do you really know him as “the son of David?” This week, I challenge you to see what others can’t. Spread The Soup!
