Not only is Moses Uvere a great Dallas Christian artist, but he is a man with a huge heart. One of my favorite songs/videos from him was “Problems.” I remember reviewing his album “Mind the gap” and really liking this song. I could imagine pretty cool visuals that he would’ve done to really show the concept of the song. What Moses did exceeded my thoughts and expectations. He decided to actually use the song as a soundtrack to a documentary style video of him serving the people of Joplin, Missouri after the EF5 tornado of 2011. Teddy Cool did a great job of directing the video.
It was very interesting for Moses to show how money could help problems, but having a giving spirit is worth way more. This video really inspires anyone who watches it. The video even goes deeper showing that you could have all the money in the world, but those things you purchase with money could be taken from you at any moment.
This video is a great reminder of what the church should be doing for communities. It doesn’t matter if you have money, it matters if you have a heart for those that have a need. Let this video remind you that we are to live to stop problems and not become them. Spread The Soup!
