Chris Sandoe | The Left Side: So. Cal Vibes Review | Album Review| @csandoemusic @chicangeorge @trackstarz

Growing up, I really always wanted to go to California. I always enjoyed hearing about the different places and culture there. As time and priorities came into my life, I never got the chance to go (yet). I forgot about my desire from my bucket list until I was submitted Chris Sandoe’sThe Left Side: So Cal Vibes” EP.  With this project, he speaks on being a Christian and a Californian.

Chris Sandoe starts the project off with “Left Side” representing as a “golden state warrior rocking lakers attire.” Within the second verse, he gives a very lovely landscape visual of his city and surrounding towns. I think this should be his next video to give outsiders an insider perspective of Cali. Next, Chris speaks his mind of his current state of hip hop with “Not a fan,” claiming that many of these rappers are caught in the matrix. Chris recommends that they put him in their playlist and start to do better with their profession. The track’s bridge shows how we can change our appetite after our B.C. (before Christ) period for a new day. On “Back in the dayz (I remember),” Chris shows off his storytelling skills by bringing us into his activities as an adolescent boy. Once again,  he shows that he could eventually go down as one of the best storytellers within CHH.

Overall, I really enjoyed this EP. The production is great and truly embodies the southern Cali vibes that is/was intended on this EP. This EP was just enough to make me want to hear the second one. Chris Sandoe is going to be a name to know in the future of CHH. Until I get my chance to visit California, Chris has provided me with an experience that can last until then. Spread The Soup!
