Delivered But Not Defeated| #52verses52weeks| @chicangeorge @Trackstarz

Romans 4:25– “He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.”

I hope you all had a wonder Easter yesterday and are having a great start to the week so far. As we reflect back on the weekend and look to the week ahead, I am reminded that Easter is a very important factor to a Christian’s belief/walk. It reminds us of the essence of what we believe in. One verse that helps us to understand the importance of our belief is Romans 4:25. This displays Christ’s power, love and faithfulness all wrapped into on epic verse. We must understand that Christ willingly delivered Himself to death for our sins. He went to death not for His sins, but for our sins. He did it to justify His Father’s love for us. The most important part of it, is that He didn’t let death defeat Him. As He was delivered to death, He was delivering us from it. The only one that was defeated by Christ’s death was Satan. So remember, Christ was delivered to death, but not defeated. Spread The Soup!
