Renaissance Movement Music has been making “moves” living up to their name. Not only have they been birthing a breath of fresh air within the process of serving the church and CHH community, they have been doing the same within music.
Their new album “Lions In Suits,” starts off with a powerful intro with “Baal”. Not only does Laquan Green do a great job making a decree to God and against false worship, he does a great job with the production as well. The group then jumps into the album with some great introduction tracks with “Why I do it” and “Don’t get it twisted.” “Black Tie Affair” is a creative track symbolizing chasing materialism and people’s perception about you as well as reflecting how you have a new look when you come to the Lord. R.M.M. shows their emotional side as they give us “Lioness,” dedicating this track to their ladies and how they are their support system. On the tail end of the album, they end with some heavy hitters with “Spurgeon Theory” and “Harvey Dent.”
This is a strong album setting the standard for music in 2016. R.M.M.’s styles (Sinai, Mike Bell, Legin) all compliment each other well. These guys are truly bringing their A game with this project. The production, creativity and lyrics are top-notch and the hooks are perfect. This album is full of God’s Truth and reveal His Grace. At the end of this album, you will understand that we should be like Christ, show our boldness like a lion and be about the Kingdom business as if we had our suit on. We can all be lions in suits.
