“The Glory Album” |Album Review|(@christongray @trackstarz @jasonbordeaux1)

Christon Gray drops his newest project this week “The Glory Album.” Many fans were questioning what would come from Gray on his first album after signing with Kirk Franklin’s Fo Yo Soul recording label. Whatever it was that made you a fan of Christon Gray, it is present on this album. He delivers everything from beautiful ballads, to dope bars and a continued display of his lyricist ability. There is a wide range of emotions throughout this album. Gray has an advantage in his music, because he has the ability to deliver a powerful message in his ability to rap, as well as lay down a great hook.

I hate to pick and choose favorites on this album because every song has its own special touch. If I had to pick a few it would be “Stop Me”, “Afraid with You”, “Connor McDees”, and “Follow You.” “Stop Me” has the perfect combination of production and vocal ability. I had a great appreciation  for the word play in this song. “Afraid with You” gave me a new enjoyment for his singing and harmonization. “Connor McDees” has a great combo of artists including Skyzoo and brother Taelor Gray. He rounds up the end of the album with a song dedicated to our Lord and Savior. He sings about following Jesus through anything. Great way to end “The Glory Album.”
