When going into business, it’s important to know what you can do and also why it needs to be done. This would be defined as your mission statement. - State where your business will take place (whether geographically or demographically)
- Write down the direction you are intending your business to go
When you work on your mission statement, make sure to write it down, so you can actually see it with your eyes. After you complete your mission statement, you should place it in a location where you can see it daily. This could be in your office, kitchen, or anywhere you spend a good amount of time. If you get to the point in your career where you need to hire team members, you should have them read and understand the mission statement. An effective team works on the same mission.
