Hello everyone and welcome to a special edition end of the year post, before the year ends I wanted to make a list of ten artists I thought took over this year as well as some that started out this year and are already killing it. So without further ado, I present my top 10 artists of the year:
Tuví:
TUVÍ is one of those once in a lifetime type of talents, having been on the scene since 2021, it wasn’t fully until this year that he truly locked in and started mastering his craft.
With a total of twelve singles, a mixtape he dropped during the summer, his debut full length project which dropped in October as well as being named a Rapzilla Freshman of 2025 and being featured on three of the thirteen songs on the Rapzilla Freshman 2025 album. TUVÍ is on a mission to spread the gospel through his music and deliver nothing but the highest quality in his music.
Not too many people have had a year like Kaden has this year, releasing a total of three projects, as well as a deluxe edition of Hit Maker II, and a handful of singles.
Kaden proves that consistency is key and throughout everything he dropped, he never sacrificed quality for the sake of quantity. Everything he dropped was high quality and shows that Kaden is here to stay, I can’t wait to see what next year has in store for him.
A3:
A3 is insanely talented, sometimes he gets overlooked due to how successful his brother 350 has been, but Aiden has proven that he can hold his own amongst the best. Having dropped his album ESCAPE CALLING this year as well as a handful of singles one of which is the lead single to another album dropping sometime next year.
A3 in my opinion is one of the best and hardest working artists in the scene right now, always putting out quality over quantity and always putting on for the 956 aka Texas where he’s from, A3 proves that he’s here to stay.
Mica:
Mica had kind of a slow year this year but he still managed to absolutely kill it, from his ep METÁNOIA that dropped to his performance at Outlandish Fest in Texas. Mica’s bold proclamation of Christ in his music and in his day to day activities makes him stand out, seeking to make a change in his city.
You’ll always see Mica putting on for New York City, destined to bring Christ to his city and make sure people know how much Jesus changed his life, I can’t wait to see what next year has in store for him.
Amarah:
Amarah is someone who recently hit the scene, dropping her debut single in February of this year, it didn’t take long before she started to gain significant attention from established artists such as 350, Jon Keith, Not Klyde and others.
In a space that’s predominantly male, Amarah proves herself a very much needed and welcome addition to the space, with great vocals paired with equally good writing and really quality sound, Amarah is an artist you wanna invest in now.
Vennisay:
Vennisay has probably had the best year any artist can ask for, he pumped out a new single almost every week and in the weeks he took a break from dropping a new single he dropped an EP or album in its place.
He also doesn’t stay boxed in one genre as he proved with his indie rock EP ANYTHING 4U to his full length rap album out of control to any one of his many singles, Vennisay has had an absolutely generational run this year.
With a total of thirty three singles, an album, and an EP as well as an album of throwaway tracks on his other account, burnerven as well as a trip to Japan.
Vennisay is without a doubt one of the most consistent and best artists in the new generation of CHH, proving that you can drop quality and quantity, I just know next year’s gonna be even crazier for him.
Joz:
Joz has been around since 2023, having done a couple of features for some friends, it wasn’t until this year that she released her debut single entitled “Bounce Back” produced by JXRGE.
Joz proves immediately that she can hold her own in the space, with Christ centered lyrics, a great and unique flow, Joz is proving herself a force to be reckoned with. Despite only dropping two singles this year, she’s already proved in a short amount of time that she’s got what it takes to make a name for herself and stay, paving her own lane.
I can’t wait to see what next year has in store for her, Joz has a very promising future ahead of her.
Peair:
Peair is an example of a great upcoming artist, having the privilege of meeting him at Holy Smoke! this year, Peair is one of the most genuine and humble people you’ll ever meet.
He dropped nine singles, one album and a deluxe edition of the same album, as well as some features that he killed. Peair is without a doubt paving his own lane, proving he’s here to stay, I can’t wait to see what next year has in store for him.
yumiya!:
Another relatively new addition to the space, yumiya! is a Korean American artist seeking to set herself apart from everyone else, proving that she’s unique and that she’s here to stay.
Having released her debut single in March of this year, she started gaining recognition from well established artists such as Marty, DJ Mykael V, Jay Manwell, Battz as well as the aforementioned 350 and Not Klyde among others.
It’s important to have female representation in a space as big as Christian Hip Hop, with Christ centered and confident lyrics as well as a unique flow, yumiya! is a name to watch, I can’t wait to see what next year has in store for her.
Drew is a force to be reckoned with, having been named as a Rapzilla Freshman of this year, the stakes are already high. So the question would be how does Drew measure up against the already high stakes, the answer? Not one but two albums as well as twelve singles, also securing a spot on six of the thirteen songs on the Rapzilla.com Presents: Freshman 2025 album.
Drew is very intentional about the music he puts out, from personal and introspective tracks to hype tracks, Drew proves he can do it all, while also pointing the listener back to God.
He’s also someone I had the privilege of meeting at Holy Smoke!, a super dope and down to earth guy, I know he’s about to go even crazier next year and I can’t wait to see what he has in store.
Every artist mentioned will have a link to their Spotify and will be tagged in the Instagram post, thank you to Trackstarz for allowing me once again this platform to help put these very deserving artists on to a bigger level.
I pray God uses this list to help you find some really good Christian artists to support as well as serve as an encouragement to the ten artists on here to continue to let God use them and guide them.
God bless y’all and I hope you have a happy and blessed new year, with that I conclude my last post and article for 2025. Much more to come next year, see y’all then.
