BenRodz’s Artist of the Week: FL!PPED

Hello everyone and welcome back to the latest installment in my Artist of the Week series. This is a series I created specifically to help shine a light on dope underrated Christian artists and this week’s guest couldn’t fit that description more.

This week we have a young upcoming indie artist who goes by the name of FL!PPED, hailing from Texas, he got his start in music in 2023, releasing only three songs, things started to pick up for him in 2024 with him releasing a total of five singles.

At the beginning of this year FL!PPED released his first single of 2025 entitled “Better Option”, he also just recently released his second of the year entitled “Oh, My Child” featuring his friend and fellow artist Yoshi Yahu, having amassed over 41k streams in just the span of two years.

FL!PPED takes inspiration from artists such as Forrest Frank and creates his own unique sound, centering on topics such as relationships as well as his faith in God, FL!PPED takes all of that and manages to put his own spin on things, making them super unique to him.

With a super catchy sound, unique voice and lyrics that capture your attention, FL!PPED is without a doubt an artist you don’t want to keep sleeping on, with much more in store for the future now is the time to tap in with him before he blows up, I believe heavily in him and in his sound.

You’ll notice FL!PPED is different from the artists I’ve had on this series before, I usually wind up getting rappers to be featured on this series but something about FL!PPED caught my attention and I’ve always wanted to get more of an indie style/pop style artist on here and it felt only right that FL!IPPED be the first one that does that style of music on here.

That brings us to the end of this article, if you’re rocking with FL!PPED make sure you drop him a follow here, go stream his music here, and make sure you check out this playlist  that I keep updated with some of my favorite songs from the artists featured on here.

Huge thank you to FL!PPED for being willing to be on here and giving me everything I needed, also thank you to Trackstarz for continuing to always support me and give me a platform to continue to keep doing what I love, if you made it this far just wanna say thank you and God bless, until next time I hope y’all have an amazing week.
