Hello everyone and welcome back to the first installment of the new year in my Artist of the Week series, marking the return of this series let’s kick this off.
This week have an artist who goes by the name of NAES, NAES is an upcoming Christian artist hailing from Miami, Florida, alongside his friends and fellow artists NAES was part of the now former artist collective known as BNDNCS.
Having started making music at the age of 15, NAES knew that he wanted to make music for God, being able to sing, rap and write for any genre of music NAES is quite the artist, his debut double single “THE INTRODUCTION” which released on October 7, 2022 marked his debut into the Christian Hip Hop/music space.
While 2022 and 2023 would remain slow years for NAES, it wasn’t until 2024 that he started releasing music consistently and which saw him garner the most attention from dropping his debut album OTR with his friend and fellow artist JXRGE to dropping 12 singles, 2024 was quite the year for NAES.
With 2024 being NAES most consistent and successful year, I wanted to see what he has in store for this year so I hit him up and this is what he had to say:
“I will be dropping multiple singles this season. First one on the 31st and every other month. They will be featuring De La Cruz, TUVÍ, Noexcuse and etc. The reason I want to drop these next songs with features is to grow with others in the community. I will be dropping 3 more projects this year. All involving my testimony, a live projected dedication to my fiance, and a project simply made for mosh pits. After that, It would be around the end of the year, I would love to change my sound for the following season, and showcase my singing talents. I want to show others that I’m not just a rapper but I’m blessed with a voice as well.”
NAES is also working on an untitled album that’s sure to excite fans of his work, with all this and much more in store for the future, NAES is proving he’s an artist you don’t want to miss out on, with high quality consistent music that’s pointing back to God.
2025 is gonna be the quite the year for NAES and I can’t wait to see how far he goes, I’m excited for what NAES has in store for this year and I pray that this year would be an even more successful year for him and that he would continue to advance for the kingdom.
