L.I.G.H.T Brings Us His New Single “Gonna Last” | @252light @trackstarz

“I’m from Eastern North Carolina and I rep my state to the fullest.  I currently reside in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  I’ve been rapping since I was 12 years old and my recent release HAM Vol. 1: Hard at Ministry is my second self-released project and was released December 2, 2020, which is also my mother’s birthday.  My first album was called Life in Christ and was released in November 2015.”

“Rapping is something I put on the back burner for a while, it’s the reason why there’s 5 years between my last two albums.  I lost my mother to breast cancer on July 22, 2020 and she told me to not give up on my rap ministry shortly before she went home to be with the Lord.  I’m dedicating this recent album and all future ones to my mother.”
“L.I.G.H.T. is an acronym for Living In Grace, Humility, and Truth. My passion is street Ministry and face to face interaction, which is why most of my music projects were never available online. However, I’m learning to embrace the internet and social media so I can keep up with the times and get my music heard by a broader audience!”
“Gonna Last has a very west coast summer time type of vibe, which makes it feel refreshing because the weather is currently getting colder.  The message I’m trying to convey is that we as people spend so much time on things that have no eternal value, chasing after the wind so to speak.  Only the things we do for Christ will last and we need to have more of an eternal perspective.”
