Adan Bean has been fairly ‘QUIET’ this year but he’s ending the year off with an old banger that’s been brought to life visually in the last few days. Adan had this to say about the song and visual “.Quiet On The Set.”
“Finally letting a song out of the vault, I figured now was as good a time as any to have this see the light of day before we enter into the next decade. I want to make sure everything moving forward is in time and season. No longer do I want to sit on work for months/years. I wrote this song sometime in 2014-2015 on some real spur of the moment vibe. When I was putting together the QUIET EP for release in early 2019, I opted not to include it on the original release due to wanting to cap the tracks at a hard 5 songs. Since this was the oldest in that batch of already old songs, I felt it was best to leave off. QUIET was put out on limited release via Bandcamp and SoundCloud. Due to sample issues, I removed one song for the retail version and felt like this was a solid substitute. So, I linked with ModestMedia again (“Field.Hand.Writing”) to help bring the visuals for this to life. Massive shouts to the LowMid podcast crew (Huey, Rahmil, & Nemo). Thanks to OUST creative brand agency for some early production discussions and the gifted ModestMedia for your work and insight in executing the vision. As always, my partner DJ Opdiggy for the production and Alex Faith for the mix/mastering.” The ‘QUIET’ EP is available on all streaming platforms. Peep the visual below and let us know what you think.
