Eve was the first woman to conceive a child! The Bible doesn’t tell us if she fully understood the miracle taking place within her or if she knew the wonder of love for an unborn child, however, the Bible does tell us that Eve did recognize that life was in God’s control. At Cain’s birth she exclaimed, “I have gotten a man with the help of the Lord” (Genesis 4:1).
