Hey what’s up everyone!! These past few days, God has really been dealing with me about using my voice to encourage people. So for all of my readers, including myself, I just want to encourage us all. I know that we all go through life and have low times and high times, but regardless of where we all are, everyone needs encouragement.
God says in His word that He will never leave us nor forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:7). I feel like there are some of us that are really struggling to really sense God’s presence. I just want to pray and speak life to your soul right now. It seems that God is far away, but He is close and near, waiting for you to talk to Him and to really experience the relationship that He desires with you. So I want to encourage us all to really take time to commune with Jesus and to ask Him to reveal Himself to us.
I also feel like there are people that feel that they have fallen so far away from God that they’re too far gone. Let me tell you, that is the enemy lying to you. Jesus is constantly present, holding His arms out saying “Just let me embrace you. Let me show you the love I have for you.” Scripture tells us that, “The love of God draws people to repentance (Romans 2:4). This means that God is not just sitting there condemning us to the point that we’re being dragged to Him. He is offering grace and mercy for us despite our sins, because He has defeated death for them and for us.
Overall, God is good. He won’t let us down. He challenges us to grow in Him and He loves us so much that He doesn’t want us enslaved to our humanity. He desires us to be like Him so that we may bring this world to the light. He wants a relationship with us, because He legitimately likes us. Like despite our fallen nature, He is offering Himself to us, in perfect love. So as we go through this week, be encouraged that we are His people and that Jesus is offering love that casts out fear.
Much Love,
Ryan W.
