Courage: The Power In The Unknown| Blog| @RyGuy92 @trackstarz

What’s up everyone!!?? Another topic that has been on my hear recently (as of about an hour ago) is courage. I just had an awesome conversation with a close friend of mine, and he told me “Ryan I have seen you walk through extremely tough circumstances with astounding courage, but in certain situations, it’s like it disappears. I see you speaking to masses of people, but sometimes you are scared to say what is really going on.” I ask myself why that is?

If I can be honest, I do struggle with courage. Not every day or in most circumstances, but in a certain ones that cause me to shrink back at times when I know I need to act with boldness. How many can relate? Whether it be sharing your opinion, or asking a girl out (for the fellas) or just being open with people about what all is going on in our world. Courage is so key for our growth and development in life; so why do we lack it? Why is it that we (myself included) shrink back and settle for the comfortable, when God’s best is a decision away?

Scripture tells us to “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”(Deuteronomy 31:8) Essentially, we are told that because God goes with us, we can freely operate in boldness and courage. So to my dudes, take a step and ask that girl out (with wisdom). To my ladies, have the courage to say yes or no to that guy. To everyone collectively, WHATEVER YOU DESIRE, go for it with everything you have and be COURAGEOUS!! That is what separates the leaders from the followers.

Man, I even get a thumbs up from the one and only, Courage the Cowardly Dog!! hahahaha!!!

But seriously, let us not walk through life dejected over fear, but let us all live with courage to face the unknown and to conquer whatever is hindering us from the life God has called us to live.

Much love,
