My Introduction to Trackstarz:
For years, searching Youtube for Christian hip hop music and videos was a normal thing I would do. In 2008, I was doing just that and I came across a Line 4 Line video done by the Trackstarz. At that point in time, I had no idea who they were but I watched that first video I found and immediately was hooked. I watched almost every other video they had made up to that point in probably less than a week.
Being someone who had listened to almost exclusively CHH since the age of 10, finding the Trackstarz was a huge blessing in my life because I felt like I found a group of people who understood everything I was listening to and thinking about music. Since about day 1 of discovering the Trackstarz, I would show anyone who would watch or listen a video. I love the idea of L4L because it uses people who everyone already knows (mainstream) and shows them that us Christians bring heat just as much, while at the same time exposing them to the gospel!
Fast forward to the end of 2012 when I started a clothing brand named True Strength Apparel, little did I know a couple years after that I’d be connected to Trackstarz on a personal and business level. So, through the power of social media, Ric Sincere and I started a conversation one day in early 2016 which eventually led to a few long phone calls mostly about scripture and life issues. Through that new friendship with Ric led eventually to my brand True Strength Apparel being a main sponsor of the Trackstarz show. The Trackstarz may never know the impact they have had on my life the past 7-8 years and to throw on top of that the fact that I know them personally and through business is a blessing beyond what I could have imagined.
I thank each of you on the Trackstarz team for blessing my life through what you guys do and being real, legitimate people about life and your faith all throughout this process.
