Proverbs 3:11– “My son, despise not the chastening of the lord; neither be weary of his correction”
Many times, we can get really prideful with the way we think of ourselves. We can sometimes feel as though we can never be wrong and that our actions and thoughts are justified. Some of us need a mirror moment and a reality check from the Holy Spirit. Many times, we don’t check in on the corrections that we need to make in our lives, because we feel like God is either “being mean” or “doesn’t understand our situation.” We must understand that we shouldn’t run from God’s correction. It will only make us better. By His chastening, He is making us more humble and actually purifying us for His use at the same time. Don’t be afraid of what He is correcting in your life. He is doing it to better you and those around you. This week, check for all the corrections that God wants you to do in your life. His correction is keeping you from His rejection. Spread The Soup!
