King’s Dream front man Ruslan is gearing up to drop Americana on Sept 30th (pre-orders get their copy today). I’m excited to see where this project goes, as Ruslan has been getting better with each release. I don’t know if I’m more excited about the production or the lyrics. Between the in house production of Anthony Cruz and Erik Kingsley as well as additional production, it’s going to be lit. Ruslan is good at writing dope raps that make you feel and think. Between the videos, production, and lyrics, King’s Dream has a whole “litutaion” over there. Pre-Order from iTunes here. I suggest cutting out the middle man ordering from them directly here.

When I think about  Armond Wakeup the first words that come to mind is “rappity rap” as well as raps that make you think. He makes music that makes me wanna go deeper in God and apply those principles in life. He is a prolific writer who writes in layers and uses life experiences, wrestling metaphors, and a myriad of other tools in his arsenal when he raps. I’m excited to hear the sounds he is going to rap over, as well as what subjects he is going to touch on this time around. I will say that the song titles this time around are very interesting. Pre-order this project here, the project drops September 28th.

Alex Faith’s upcoming project Intruder hits the world on October 7th. I am excited about this project because Alex grows in both his music and writing with each project (just listen to his last project). Right off the back of the drop of “Real Ones” featuring Adan Bean, certain artists have been raving about some of the songs. Alex Faith himself said he loves everyone of these songs and that’s exciting to hear. I believe this EP will make waves for Alex and be another solid addition to his catalog. Pre-order the EP here.

Derek Minor had a momentous release with his last release Empire, and just a year and some change later, he is set to do it again. The 1014 EP served as an appetizer to whet the whistle of the fans as we wait for this upcoming album Reflection. This title is a longtime coming, as the name of Minor’s label is Reflection Music Group (RMG).  If  the boom bap single “Look at Me Now” is an indication of the direction of the sound of the album, we are in for a treat. However knowing Minor, he will most likely have a myriad of diverse songs. The project drops October 14, You can Pre-order the album here.
