W.A.L.K. Away | @Chicangeorge @Trackstarz

Many Times in marriage, there will be arguments that will or can become huge problems. Things could possibly be said or done that can be hard to take back. When you feel like the situation is becoming out of hand, you should W.A.L.K. away. Of course, W.A.L.K. is a acronym and of course… I’m going to break it down for you:

Wait– Don’t try to prove your point when your spouse is not willing to listen at that time. Give them time to cool off. You win when you wait.

Acknowledge– Acknowledge if you have done any wrong. Don’t try to be a “right fighter.” This will allow your spouse to be more open to hearing what you are trying to say.

Listen– Learn to listen and not to be “waiting to talk.” Many disagreements can be solved by simply listening.

Kind– Be nice to your spouse at all times. At the end of the day and after the argument, you are still going to be married to each other.

When we W.A.L.K. away, then we can W.A.L.K. “a way” that is pleasing to God and our spouse! Spread The Soup!
