From Born to Sin, to Born to Win | @Chicangeorge @Trackstarz #52verses52weeks

Romans 5:12- ” Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned–”

One thing that we all have in common (whether our race, gender, class, political party, belief/morals, intelligence) is that if we have entered into this world… then we have entered into sin. This was something that we couldn’t skip or miss. We all have sinned.  As the verse says, there is death through our sins. When we look at this verse, it truly makes it harder for us to judge each other, because we all are in the same predicament.  This can sound depressing and make us feel that our birth isn’t even worth it.

BUT GOD… has given us a chance to get rid of that eternal death. We can literally look at this grim verse and reverse it to find hope. Just as there was one man that brought sin and death into our world, there is one man that can bring us out of that death and sin. Because of God’s son, Jesus Christ, he has come to redeem our sins and death. And just as all people came to death through their sin, ALL people can come to eternal life through Christ. This week as you meditate on this verse, don’t let your fear or sin that you were born with overcome you. We were given a savior in a blessed and powerful paradox. Because of Christ’s death, we have the ability to be born to win! Spread The Soup!
