Social Club Misfits- The Misfit Generation EP |Album Review| (@SocialClubMSFTS @trackstarz @jasonbordeaux1)

Social Club Misfits officially dropped their first album since they signed with Capitol CMG Label Group. The album is titled The Misfit Generation-EP. This EP has 5 strong tracks, which in my opinion,  carry a complete balance to one another.

Wavemasters (feat. Aha Gazelle & Chris Durso)- This song is a great start to the album. It starts off with an explanation of how Jesus was also a misfit among those around Him. The production for this song is one of my favorites. This track is on my top 5 tracks at the moment.

Marriage Goals– Marty and Fern resurrected auto-tune in this love song. Marty has taken his bride since his EP dropped last year and is expressing his love for the first time as a married man in this track. Fern is also expressing his views as a Godly husband.

Kumbaya– Marty has posted on Twitter multiple times that this track is one of his favorites on the album. It is one of the slower tracks with deep passion interwoven into it. Take Marty’s advice and check it out for yourself.

The Misfit Generation (feat. Chris Batson)- My favorite song on the album next to Wavemasters. This song expresses what it feels like to be a misfit. It connects with its listeners and lets them know they are not alone.

Overall I feel this album is a great project to give people. Their single “Courage” has found its way on the air waves. It has been played on Air 1 radio, which is a huge CCM radio market. I think having Capitol backing the group is a great situation for Social Club.

Here is their single “Courage“-
