Jail Your Judging | #52verses52weeks| @Chicangeorge @Trackstarz

Luke 6:37“Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.”

When this verse is used out of context, it can really cause some confusion. I will focus on the heart of this verse within it’s context. When we judge people without knowing them, their situation or even speaking to them, we are putting them in our own mental and spiritual jails. We haven’t allowed them the opportunity for a lawyer or witnesses to even speak on their behalf. We are giving these individuals “life sentences” for crimes we don’t even know they committed. Have a Mirror Moment and ask yourself, Am I judging people too quickly? Am I giving people the same amount of Grace that God gave me? Did I just give this person a life sentence and have resentment towards them for it?

This week, learn to forgive and love others first. Jail your judging spirit and allow the Holy Spirit to witness to you how to witness to them. Spread The Soup!
