TLC is the home of “Jill & Jessa Counting On.” This is the series following the very popular show “19 Kids and Counting.” The Duggar family have been living their lives and spreading the gospel all over the world and TLC has been capturing these moments on television. Now that two of the older daughters have families of their own, TLC is following their lives. Jessa Duggar married a young man by the name of Ben Seewald. Before this relationship, the family had not been aware of Christian Hip Hop. The family mostly listened to Bluegrass or more traditional Christian music. Ben brought a new flavor to the family’s music collection.
Ben connected with Flame and was able to get a few interviews. More than that, he was able to have him on the show, televised on the TLC network. Flame shared stories of growing up in St. Louis and even shared a few samples of new music that he, Mike Real, and V.Rose had been working on. This was a great way for CHH to be introduced to a large group of people who had not heard or maybe didn’t understand the Gospel and stories behind the music. I would like to thank Ben Seewald and TLC for letting an influential artist like Flame be a part of the show and share his story.
