Pastor and author D.A. Horton has expressed on social media his thoughts on the need for a 3rd political party in the United States.
He wrote on his Facebook account:
“Thinking its time to start a Political Party for those who are tired of choosing between the “lesser of two evils” because both are still ‘evil.’ Not some ‘side-chick’ 3rd party with no pull or momentum.
At least to engage our political system with providing our citizens with more than ‘2’ realistic options.
I know many have said this before and have sparked many parties, but I’m talking about a genuine movement with a 50yr plan with realistic measurable outcomes, has ethnic minority leaders with influence working alongside non-minorities leaders, has experts in areas of; foreign policy, economics, health care, education, sanctity of life, et al.
Crazy thing is securing funding from sources that aren’t crazy with ideas that are counter-biblical. At the same time, one that helps Christians who affiliate truly understand how to navigate religious freedoms while living in a principle pluralist society (per Kuyper’s idea) and understand the gospel’s implications to the point they mobilize to address societies ills.”
Thi’sl of Full Ride Music Group also chimed in on twitter:
Just talked about this the other day. We need a party that's in the middle of the two. People want it, we need it. https://t.co/TCBXrQp0sJ

What do you think? Does America need a third party in politics?
