Ryan Righteous of the Trackstarz and co-host of The F.I.E.L.D radio show has worn several hats in his professional tenure. The Atlanta native has generated years of experience within the South’s booming music industry. Ryan aka “The Paypa Boy” began his career in college radio at ClarkAtlantaUniversity’s student-run radio station WSTU 98.1 FM in 2001 where for 2 years he hosted “The Mail Room”, his self-inspired hip-hop show. In May 2005, he earned his B.A. degree from ClarkAtlantaUniversity in its division of Mass Media Communications while working as an intern for Radio One. Ryan was employed for 7 years in the Sales department with Radio One-Atlanta, home to the four cluster radio group which included Atlanta’s #1 digital hip-hop station Hot 107.9, Smooth Jazz 107.5, Magic 97.5, and Praise 102.5, (where he previously sat on the board for the New Music Listening Committee). Ryan worked in both the Sales and Promotions departments and serves as protégé to Atlanta’s #1 morning man Ryan Cameron of “The Ryan Cameron Morning Show.” In 2005, Ryan began work as the President of Marketing, Promotions, and Talent Development for BV Records, an extension of BV Media Group. In 2008, Ryan assisted in the production of the very first BV Media Group documentary “New Flavors: The Emergence of Southern Hip Hop.” Over the years, Ryan has freelanced himself to work as a consultant for independent labels, artist management and developer for unsigned artists, and as a leadership coordinator for internships within Radio One-Atlanta. Ryan is currently engaging in several projects related to the music industry. His latest creative is Strong Tower Radio Group, which seeks to provide music and content not classified by cultural preference, but by its message. Ryan’s plans for higher education include returning to seminary school to obtain a degree in Pastoral Counseling. His short term goals include writing his autobiography and becoming a motivational speaker. His long term goals include launching a ministry for relationship counseling and becoming one of the #1 selling authors in motivational books. Ryan resides in Atlanta and attends Word of Faith Family Cathedral, under the leadership of Bishop Dale C. Bronner.
