Caught Up with the Wrong Crowd | @xbelle3 @trackstarz

Sometimes we can get caught up with the wrong people. Trust me, I understand. However, don’t feel like you have to continue in a relationship/friendship with someone you shouldn’t have gotten connected with in the first place. Maybe you feel conflicted to leave because you have invested much time and money. Is it a friend you met who convinced you to sell drugs for her? Or maybe your boyfriend is constantly pressuring you to sleep with him and his buddies (these are just a few examples some folks have been presented with).

Whatever situation it may be, there is tangible freedom. Gal 5 talks about being mindful to not fall back into slavery. Jesus paid for your freedom by dying a gruesome death. We are slaves to whatever (or whomever) we allow control us. Don’t get me wrong, it can be extremely hard to let that person go. Especially if you have sacrificed aspects of your life for them. However, remember you aren’t expected to let go in your own strength. God will be your strength through it all. Ask Him for wisdom and determination to walk away from any unhealthy connections. He will provide. Be encouraged. Through Christ all things are possible.
