The Same God | @ryanmw92 @trackstarz

What is going on everyone!! So this week, I just wanted to encourage us all around the fact that the same God that made the universe, and worked miracles in people in the past, is the same God that is able to work miracles in us today. We can be confident that Jesus is not done with our generation. He is fully present with us, even now.

In the Bible, Moses was leading the people out of slavery to the promsied Land. As Moses’ time was drawing to a close, God raised up Joshua to lead the people. God tells Joshua, “As I was with Moses, so I will be with you” (Joshua 1:5). This shows that even through a change of leadership and generations, God is promising His people that He will be constant and faithful to them.

“I will never leave you or forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5). This is so strong because it’s a promise from God Himself that He will always be there, interceding on our behalf. That is something we can bank on. I don’t know about you, but it gets me excited that even though times and culture changes and things in life fall apart,  God is constant and always fighting for us.

The same God that, despite his actions, restored David, calling him ‘a man after God’s heart’ is the same God that is offering Himself to us, even with our imperfect, undeserving character. The same God that called Abraham out of the place He knew to bless Him throughout generations, is the same God that is calling us out of comfort in order to show us another level of His glory, and to bless us beyond our wildest imaginations. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is inside of us, that we may show the world of this magnificent love.

This is what God is calling us to. He is raising us up so that we can reach the world for Him. We need to stop being silent and afraid, and proudly express the good news of what has been done for us. Love is present. Death has been finished. Life isn’t available. The same hands that made the stars are holding our hearts. Take comfort in that today.

Much Love,

Ryan W.
