Open Ears | 10 More Rappers Who Can Sing | @j19music @trackstarz

Several months ago, we posted an article of Rappers who can sing.  The response was so good, I decided to add to the list. Many of you have given me names of people who I forgot to mention or just didn’t have room for. Just remember that these list are in no particular order. Be sure to check out all of these artist and find the previous list to see who else we mentioned before.

1. Tragic Hero

Tragic Hero has one of the most distinct voices in all of CHH. He is very diverse from other artists for his singing and rapping abilities. His latest album, My Own Worst Enemy, gave us many solid pieces of work but one that stands out the most is the song “Winter.”

2. Tedashii

Tedashii has gone through some big changes the past couple of years in his personal life and it really shows in his latest EP, This Time Around. He has been very ambitious in many of his raps with getting a little more melodic with some of his bars. “I’m Good” is one song that really pushes his boundaries and he really shows what he can do with that deep raspy voice.

3. Sevin

Now this is by far one of the biggest gripes about my last list is that I did not mention Sevin at all. If I’m being completely honest, I have never given Sevin a real chance before. In light of all the comments I got from you guys and my writing team, I decided to give him a chance again and hear what he has to say. Let me tell you that it was one of the biggest shocks to hear this guy sing, he has some amazing pipes to the point I’m surprised hes primarily a rapper. Hear what I’m talking about with the song “Surrender.”

4. Jekob

Jekob is one of those artist that you would recognize his voice on any track. He for the most part lends his singing chops on choruses for other people, but his last 2 albums shows that he is very proficient in both rapping and singing. Listen to his own body of singing work with the song “I Believe.”

5. Deraj

From graphic designer to now being one of the newest artist to sign to RMG, Deraj has been playing with my emotions for years now. Ever since I heard Mirrors and Medicine he has been one of my most anticipated artist to release a full length LP. He showed so much artistry with the pictures and emotions he created, that I can hardly wait to see what he does with a full length album. Check out the song “Egypt” to hear his own voice.

6. Bizzle

Bizzle is for sure the veteran of the group and has had many years to work on his craft. Considering he has one of the biggest collection of albums under his belt, it’s no surprise to know that he may have worked on his vocals here and there. Check it out with his song “Regular People.”

7. JGivens

JGivens is definitely the least likely person to show up on a list like this. You wouldn’t really guess that he has a decent voice, but he has tried it on one song that most people probably missed it was his. Check out the song “Butterfly Stance” from his Fly Exam album.

8. Sean Simmons

Sean Simmons was someone who I knew had to make this list sooner or later. An artist as diverse as himself who has really crafted his art, it felt really deserving to add his here. Check out his song “Masterpiece” to experience what I’m talking about.

9. Skrip

Skrip always manages to blow me away with his singing. He has some of the strongest vocals on this list and he almost sounds like a whole new person when he sings. I personally think the most evident example of this is the song “Castles In The Sky” from his Show And Tell EP.

10. Graham Saber

Graham is the newcomer on this list, but so far he his making a name for himself. He has come out the gates showing that he can rap and sing quite well. “AWFF” is the title track to his latest album All We Fought For… listen to this song:
