For The People EP Review|(@justderaj @iambcooper @trackstarz)

RMG label mates B. Cooper and Deraj have released a joint album earlier this week. Both artists individually have distinct styles of artistry and bring both of their styles of music together on this new 9 track EP. Their artistry coming together is one of the major factors that make “For The People” such an enjoyable album. This project is chock full of enjoyable instrumentals that carry you smoothly from the heavy bangers of the opening and title track “For the People” to the more laid back tracks of “Stars” and “Transparency.” With a majority of the album produced by Dirty Rice and engineered by Deraj, this album has this infectious sound from beginning to end.

Through this concept, they are able to create a multitude of songs that cover this topic diversely enough to be able to reach a great range of people. The final 3 songs make for a great ending to the project; giving us a glimpse of their lives individually and how God uses those situations to make them grow and seek Gods face.

Overall this is a good album to have a great time blasting full volume in you car with your crew, and at the same time giving us the reflective and hopeful lyrics that bring honor and glory back to God.
