Devotion and Honor | Marriage Monday| @chicangeorge @trackstarz

Romans 12:10– “Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.”

This is one of the strongest verses to use as a cornerstone within your marriage. We should always have devotion for our spouse. Devotion is defined as “loyalty, or enthusiasm for a person, activity, or cause.” You will never get in trouble for showing your spouse loyalty. Your spouse will always appreciate your enthusiasm. Learn to show devotion for activities that matter to your spouse (birthdays, holidays, etc). Learn to show devotion to them by supporting the causes that matter to them. Always show your spouse Honor. Honor is defined as “the highest respect. Other than God, don’t let anything have more honor than your spouse. Also, make sure that you are putting them before yourself.

Make sure you take this verse and put it places that you will always see it throughout the day. This will help you to become accountable for your choice in how you treat your spouse. End the year and start the year off by giving your spouse honor and devotion. Spread The Soup!
