nobigdyl. “Sweet Dreams, Breathe Easy” | @nobigdyl @indiextribe @trackstarz

A lot of new music coming from the CHH genre has been centered around police brutality, racism, and white supremacy(as it should be) and nobigdyl.’s latest release is no exception. The song, “Sweet Dreams, Breathe Easy,” covers a vast history of police brutality and white supremacy in a mere minute and forty four seconds. Dyl starts off with, “Breonna was tryna sleep/George said he was trying to breathe” and he goes in from there. Dyl goes from living below the Mason Dixon Line(because location in the US matters when it comes to being black), the 13th Amendment, police brutality, “white blessing,” and more. He asks  the listener what they are doing to contribute to justice and peace and admonishes Believers, “don’t give me verses unless you back it up with your feet.” This is a song born of the current times and you need this in your ears. Download and then stream and share it with those in your circle who are still acting clueless about what’s going on in America.
